What are Petite Patties?

Mini Jamaican patties, roughly 3″ inches wide, which are flaky pastries filled with one of the flavours listed below.

Beef (Mild) – Naked

Ground beef spiced to perfection without any heat.

The same great flavours from the mild beef but with a spicy kick courtesy of Beko Food’s Tina hot sauce.

Jerk Chicken – Purple/Gray Dot

Dairy free
Seasoned shredded chicken tossed in in-house made jerk sauce. Not as spicy as the spicy beef, but definitely packs a punch.

Curry Potato & Chickpea – Green Dot

Vegan
Cooked in a Jamaican curry powder, this veggie delight is sure to please your taste buds.

Mango – Slit

Vegan
The one who started it all, the OG dessert flavour. Mango chunks sit on top of a spiced mango jam and get a light sprinkling of brown sugar

Plantain – Two Green Dots **COMING SOON**

Vegan
Sliced caramelized plantain topped with a combination of spiced plantain puree and soy butter. Giving it a sweet and nutty flavour without using any nuts.

Rum Raisin – Two Purple/Gray Dots **COMING SOON**

The perfect harmony of rum soaked raisins and a cheesecake like filling.

Fridge: Keep any leftover patties stored inside of an airtight container. They will keep in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Freezer: Keep any leftover patties stored inside of a flat, airtight baggie (helps to prevent freezer burn). They will keep in the freezer for up to 8 months.

Reheating Instructions

Convection Oven

Preheat the oven to 375°F
Fridge patties: 10-15 minutes
Frozen patties: 20-25 minutes


Toaster Oven

On the “bake” setting, set toaster oven to 400°F
Fridge patties: 9 minutes
Frozen patties: 15 – 20 minutes


Air Fryer

Set to 375°F
Fridge patties: 7 – 9 minutes
Frozen patties: 10 – 15 minutes


Microwave + Toaster Combo

Fridge patties: microwave the patty until the center is warm, around 1 minute or so. Then place in the toaster until the pastry reaches your desired crispness. I would not recommend this method for the mango patty since the filling could leak out.


Is it burnt?

9 times out of 10, no it isn’t! With the jerk chicken patty, the marinade I use loves to leak out and it goes “black” while they bake. Although it might not look great, this is actually my favorite part to eat. In the case of the mango patty, if it’s not super dark, the filling simply caramelized when it leaked out. Don’t want the dark bits? They’re super easy to flake off if you’re not a fan of them.
